Ideas and Brains Behind Fake News!!

I think it is the best time to share some points, which I gone though the articles or recent reports:

If someone look for Wikipedia, the new generation information power house, you may get the following information about Fake News!!

“Fake news is written and published usually with the intent to mislead in order to damage an agency, entity, or person, and/or gain financially or politically, often using sensation, dishonest, or fabricated headlines to increase readership. Similarly, these stories and headlines earn advertising revenue from this activity”

The brains behind the Fake news has started this from very older time itself and now they have the option of Social Medias for spreading it much faster than what we image.  As per the latest Research reports, it has found that false political information tends to spread “3 times” faster than other false news!!  Its very much worrying information for the people who becomes the victims of this face news.  Fake news and scandals often seem more believable than the truth and always leading to racism, harassment, and damage to reputation.

The most common fake stories we hear about our politics and political leaders, but we cannot undermine the impact how it badly affection on society in general.  For an example, by publishing a fake news, sometimes it will reach to 100% people and in the first instance, these new will get acceptance and they will believe the same too.  After few hours or days, the affected people or parties will come out with the real news and will try to spread the fact through available medias to make the society aware about the fake news.  Unfortunately, most of the cases, the real news or fact will reach only to 75-80% of the people and the rest 20-25% will remain trusted on the Fake News.  The purposeful creator of this fake news will come out with ‘an apology’ and he will realize that his intention gets realized with 20-25% people.

As a serious concern to us, it is reported that fake news in India has led to episodes of violence between castes and religions, interfering with public policies. It often spreads through the Social media networks and even though satellite network channels.  Some individuals or paid agencies may be the intentional creators of this fake news, which can give extra ordinary and huge advantage to the Promoters, for whom, the result will be always beyond their imagination.

If some one sincerely think for taking steps to stop it from the bottom lever and if the Government would cancel the accreditation of journalists found to be sharing fake news, it will immediately invite criticisms like “attack on Freedom of Press”.  It is also feared that it may convert as a weapon to tackle the opponent, just like some other laws.

Being an ordinary citizen, what we can do is to Analyze news before believing it…  On all matters, Self-analyzing will help us to take the right path.  Don't become the megaphones of others...

Improve the Society, it starts from you...

Everyone is committed to the improvement or betterment of his society and the improvement of his Nation as a whole.

Basic qualification of an individual is to be considered as Honesty, Sincerity and Humanity & Kindness.  An individual with these qualities can form an ideal Family and then group of Group of Families which in turn will construct the healthy society.

The improvement of a society starts from nowhere but from people themselves. Unless the people need for a change in the society, the government can play no role, as the government represents nothing but the voices and choices of the people.

The best idea to improve the society is to improve ourselves:

It is rightly said by some great personality that- it's not a country that develops, it's some states that develops. It's not the states that develop, it's some cities that develop. It's never that some cities develop, there are some societies that develop. It's not that a society develop, some families develop. & last but not the least it's not some families, it's us the family members that develop eventually leading to develop the whole society, city, state, the nation & the world as well. 

Best thing that we can do to make this world a better place is be at our best, & if we miss to do so then we reduce the quality of the world.  Without your best, the world can't be at its best.  So instead of finding ways to develop our society we must find ways to develop ourselves & having done that we must find ways to teach the whole society the same. 

Early childhood education is the key to the betterment of the society.

Education, includes classes in a building, but it also means learning about the world around us. Get to know your friends, family and community better and how comfortably they are living.

Understanding your history is another key for a civilized society.  Understanding the history means, understanding about your Parents and their struggle to build up your family, understand your leader and their struggle to build up your communities and country etc.  After all, understanding the history teaches about what you should follow and what you should not do, which all can affect your society in various ways.

Todays’ Society is facing a lot of challenges like, Crime, poverty, unemployment etc. which are in turn making lots of public spending for maintaining law and order and in creating new job opportunities.   That means to help the individuals to lead a happy and healthy life, it is necessary for the society to find the challenges as listed above and make efforts to eliminate them.  

Every individuals have to support the local government bodies in fighting against the bad elements of the society, minimum for the following:

- Support to preserve the nature and environment

- Providing equal opportunities and to all the individual in Education, Employment etc.

- Better education system 

- Fight against Poverty and inequalities

- Providing Better health care and improved life standards etc.

ഇടതിനെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവർക്കാവശ്യം വ്യക്തിത്വമുള്ള പക്ഷത്തെയാണ്

“ഇന്ന് കേരളത്തിൽ മാത്രം ഭരണവും, ബംഗാളിലും ത്രിപുരയിലും ചുരുക്കം ചില സ്ഥലങ്ങളിൽ സാന്നിധ്യവുമുള്ള ഒരു പാർട്ടി” -- സിപിഎം ഉൾപ്പെടുന്ന ഇടതു പക്ഷത്തെ സാധാരണക്കാർ കാണുന്നത് ചിലപ്പോൾ ഇങ്ങനെയായിരിക്കും.

അപ്പോഴും പലരെങ്കിലും ചിന്തിക്കുന്നതും, പുതുതായി ആരെങ്കിലും ചിന്തിക്കേണ്ടതുമായ ഒരു കാര്യമുണ്ട്... എന്ത് കൊണ്ടായിരിക്കും കോൺഗ്രസ്സ് മുക്ത ഭാരതം എന്ന് ടാഗ് ലൈൻ ഉള്ള ബിജെപി, ഇന്ത്യ ഭരിക്കുന്നതും, ഒട്ടു മിക്ക സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിലും അധികാരവുമുള്ള ഒരു പാർട്ടി, മേൽ പറഞ്ഞ സിപിഎം, ഇടതു പക്ഷം, എന്നിവർക്കുമെതിരെ ഇത്ര രൂക്ഷമായ രീതിയിൽ രാജ്യ വ്യാപകമായി പ്രചാരണങ്ങളും, പ്രതിഷേധങ്ങളും, മാർച്ചുകളും, യാത്രകളുമൊക്കെ നടത്തുന്നത്??

അപ്പോൾ ഈ പക്ഷത്തിൽ എന്തോ ഉണ്ട്... അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഇടതു പക്ഷക്കാർ പോലും തിരിച്ചറിയാത്ത എന്തോ ഗുണം; അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഈ വിഭാഗത്തിന്റെ വളർച്ച താങ്കൾക് സമീപ ഭാവിയിൽ ബുദ്ധിമുട്ടാകും എന്ന തിരിച്ചറിവ്, രാഷ്ട്രീയ കൗശലക്കാരായ ബിജെപി പോലും തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.. എന്തോ ഇടതു പക്ഷത്തെ പലരും ഈ ഗുണപരമായ സാധ്യതയെ തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ല എന്ന് തോനുന്നു... വലിയ ഇടത് നേതാക്കൾ ഉൾപ്പടെ..!!

മേല്പറഞ്ഞ കാര്യങ്ങൾ ചിന്തയിൽ വെച്ച് കൊണ്ടായിരിക്കണം ഇപ്പോൾ നടന്നു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്ന ഇടതു പക്ഷത്തിന്റെ കോൺഗ്രസ്സ് സഹകരണം എന്ന ആശയത്തെ നോക്കിക്കാണാൻ...

ബംഗാളിൽ കോൺഗ്രെസ്സുമായി മത്സരിച്ചപ്പോൾ നേട്ടം കോൺഗ്രസ്സിനായിരുന്നു... അപ്പോൾ പിന്നെ കോൺഗ്രെസ്സുമായി പോയിട്ട് കാര്യമില്ലെന്നു എളുപ്പത്തിൽ മനസ്സിലാക്കിക്കൂടെ.... 

കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ് / സിപിഎം സഖ്യമുണ്ടായാല്‍ അത് ഉയര്‍ത്തിക്കാട്ടിയായിരിക്കും ബിജെപി പ്രചരണം നടത്തുക. അത് കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ്, സിപിഎം വിരുദ്ധ വോട്ടുകളെല്ലാം ബിജെപിയില്‍ കേന്ദ്രീകരിക്കാന്‍ ഇടയാക്കുകയും ബിജെപിക്ക് വലിയ മുന്നേറ്റമുണ്ടാക്കാന്‍ സാധിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യും. എന്നാല്‍, ഇവിടങ്ങളില്‍ വളര്‍ന്നുവരുന്ന ബിജെപിയെ ഇല്ലാതാക്കാന്‍ കോണ്‍ഗ്രസ് സഖ്യത്തിന് സാധിക്കുമെന്നാണ് ഇവർ കരുതുന്നത്.  ത്രിപുരയിൽ കോൺഗ്രസ് നേതാക്കൾ നേരിട്ട് ബിജെപി യിൽ ചേർന്നപ്പോൾ, ബാക്കിയുള്ള കോൺഗ്രസ് അണികൾ ബിജെപിക്ക് വോട്ടു ചെയ്തതാണ് പുതു ചരിത്രം... 

എന്തായാലും മുങ്ങുന്ന കപ്പലിലേക്ക് വലിഞ്ഞു കേറി ആ പ്രക്രിയക്ക് ആകാം കൂട്ടാം എന്ന് മാത്രമേ കാര്യമുള്ളൂ... പലയിടത്തും ഇന്ന് കൊണ്ഗ്രെസ്സ് ഒരു മുങ്ങിപ്പോയ കപ്പലാണ്... ടൈറ്റാനിക്കിന്റെ കഥ പറയുന്നത് പോലെ കോൺഗ്രെസ്സിനെക്കുറിച്ചും ഇനി നല്ല കഥകൾ പറയാം എന്ന് മാത്രം..

പ്രലോഭനങ്ങളിൽ മാധ്യമങ്ങളും വീണു പോകും.. കാരണം അതെല്ലാം ഒരു കച്ചവടത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമാണല്ലോ... കേരളത്തിലെ തന്നെ നിർഭയമായി പറക്കുന്ന ചാനലുകാർ പോലും ചെയ്യുന്നത് എന്താണെന്നു നോക്കിയാൽ ഇത് മനസ്സിലാകും... നിരന്തരമായി ഇടതും വലതും ശരിയല്ല ശരിയല്ല എന്ന് ഉറക്കെ പറഞ്ഞു മൂന്നാമനുള്ള കളമൊരുക്കുന്നു തിരക്കിലാണവർ...  

ഇടതു പക്ഷത്തെ പരിപോഷിപ്പിക്കാനെന്ന ലേബലിൽ ഇടതു പക്ഷത്തെ നിരന്തരമായി അപകീർത്തിപ്പെടുത്തുന്ന ഒരു കൂട്ടം ബുദ്ധി ജീവികളാണ് ഇന്ന് ഇടതു പക്ഷത്തിനു കൂടുതൽ ക്ഷീണമുണ്ടാക്കുന്നത്... ഈ ബുദ്ധി ജീവികൾക്കറിയില്ല ഇവർ കുളിപ്പിച്ച് കുളിപ്പിച്ച് ഈ കുട്ടി ഇല്ലാതായാൽ എന്ത് ചെയ്യും എന്ന്.. ഇവർക്കു ഇപ്പോഴും കയ്യടി കിട്ടുന്നത് ഇടതു പക്ഷത്തെ കുറ്റം പറയുമ്പോൾ മാത്രമാണ്....

താഴെ തട്ടിൽ നിന്നും പ്രവർത്തിച്ചു ഇനി പാർട്ടിയെ ഉയർത്തിക്കൊണ്ടു വന്നു ഇപ്പോഴൊന്നും അധികാരത്തിലെത്താൻ പറ്റില്ലെന്ന് മനസ്സിലാക്കി, എളുപ്പ വഴിയിൽ അധികാരത്തിന്റെ പാതയിലെത്താൻ ഇന്ന് ബിജെപിയാണ് നല്ലതെന്നു ഒരുവിധം കോൺഗ്രെസ്സുകാരെല്ലാം മനസ്സിലാക്കി... അല്ലെങ്കിലും ഈ ബിജെപിയും കോൺഗ്രസ്സും തമ്മിൽ എന്തെങ്കിലും വ്യതാസമുണ്ടോ... അല്പം വര്ഗീയത കൂടുതൽ പറയും, അത്ര മാത്രം... നയപരിപാടികളിൽ കാര്യമായ മാറ്റമൊന്നും ഇല്ലല്ലോ.. എന്തൊക്കെ പറഞ്ഞാലും, കൊണ്ഗ്രെസ്സ് നയങ്ങൾ നല്ല രീതിയിൽ നടപ്പിലാക്കുന്നത് ഇപ്പോൾ ബിജെപിയാണല്ലോ...

ഇടതു പക്ഷം ഇനിയെങ്കിലും, സമൂഹത്തിന്റെ സാമ്പത്തിക സാമൂഹിക വളർച്ചക്കൊപ്പം പാർട്ടി പരിപാടികളും മാറ്റണം... വിമര്ശനവും സ്വയം വിമര്ശനവും എന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു ജനങ്ങൾ പോലും മറന്നു പോകുന്ന കാര്യങ്ങൾ വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും ചർച്ച ചെയ്തു പാർട്ടിക്കാർക്കിടയിലും ജനങ്ങൾക്കിടയിലും വെറുപ്പുണ്ടാക്കിയിട്ടു എന്ത് കാര്യം... ഇന്ന് ഇടത്തരക്കാരനായാൽ ഒരാൾ ലക്‌ഷ്യം വെക്കുന്നത് കൂടുതൽ കൂടുതൽ സൗകര്യങ്ങളുള്ള ഒരു ജീവിത സാഹചര്യമാണ്..അവിടെ ബീഡിയും കട്ടൻ ചായയും വല്ലാതെ ഗുണം ചെയ്യില്ല എന്ന് ത്രിപുര മനസ്സിലാക്കിത്തരുന്നുണ്ടല്ലോ!! 

സാമാന്യം തരക്കേടില്ലാത്ത പ്രാദേശിക പാർട്ടികളുമായി ചേർന്നു അടിത്തട്ടിൽ നിന്നും ശക്തിപ്പെടുന്നതായിരിക്കും ഇനി ഇടതു പാർട്ടികൾക്ക് നല്ലതു എന്ന് തോനുന്നു.. 

ഈ വീഴ്ചയുടെ അവസരം മുതലാക്കി, ചുറ്റുമുള്ളവർ ഒരേ സ്വരത്തിൽ ഉറക്കെ ഉറക്കെ പറഞ്ഞു കൊണ്ടേയിരിക്കും, കോൺഗ്രസിനൊപ്പം ചേരു...മറ്റേതെങ്കിലും പിന്തിരിപ്പന്മാർക്കൊപ്പം  ചേരു...; അവർക്കാവശ്യം ചിലപ്പോൾ ഇടതിന്റെ പെട്ടെന്നുള്ള തകർച്ചയായിരിക്കാം..പക്ഷെ,

ഇടതിനെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നവർക്കാവശ്യം വ്യക്തിത്വമുള്ള ഒരു പക്ഷത്തെയാണ് എന്ന് മറക്കാതിരിക്കുക...

News: Merging of State Bank of India with its Associate Banks

While the Big bank merging; what’s my views!! 

 Year 2017, April 1 – it was not the fooling news regarding merging of State Bank brands all around India including our familiar and most competent and trusted bank, State Bank of Travancore. 

The Government the merger of State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur (SBBJ), State Bank of Mysore (SBM), State Bank of Travancore (SBT), State Bank of Patiala (SBP), State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH) and BMB.

The Management and the so called experts behind this merger are claiming that the Brand, State Bank of India will enter in to the group of world’s biggest banks in terms of Turnover and Capital and said that it has joined the league of top 50 Banks globally in terms of assets following the merger.

Further, merger or acquiring of these banks to the State Bank of India (SBI) will help the SBI to cut down Overhead expenditures up to stationary expenditure itself.  And they believe that they can reduce the huge amount of manpower investment i.e. employees in the coming year.  In an immediate conclusion, all have to accept the advantages claimed by the so called experts.

Unfortunately, I have notice some points which cannot be that much advantageous to all:

In this context, they are already in process of VRS for the employees.  It is understood that they are not going to employ more people on their permanent role and will encourage the contract based employees similar to new generation banks.

The Bank Management will have challenges related to staff integration and rationalization.  Since few of the employee unions are against this merger due to their insecurity and doubts and Management will have to find more time to regain their trust and confidence. 

Have you ever noticed; even though there is a SBI branch on your village town, more people are depending on SBT of the same town.  It means that the special attention or customer care they were enjoying was far better than the big bank SBI.  In one word: Merger will affect regional flavour and will end regional focus.

We have recently noticed that SBI has kept the separate account or practicing of keeping a separate book for long repayment defaulters or doubtful debtors to avoid continuous comments from stack holders and poor bottom line performing figures due to NPAs. 

Different logos of State Bank brands to be considered as a tactics of ‘Product differentiation’ which always help to obtain more Customers.  Now Customers are having one Brand of SBI and if they are not treated well or not satisfied, SBI will easily lose their Customer base which has come through this local brands like SBT and other. 

Becoming India’s Big Bank, SBI will shift their concentration to Corporate Customers which will have adverse effect on their Personal Banking outlook.  

As our Govt. is promoting Digitalized Economy, we require more banking competition rather than more banking consolidation. In other words, it needs more banks rather than fewer banks which can penetrate to each and every corner of our country.

Conclusion:

Merger should be carried out with right banks for the right reasons. Nonperforming shall not be the only reason for merger. Now that the move has been initiated, the bigger challenge is consolidation in the rest of the banking system.  The consolidation of Public Sector Banks should not have reason to lose the customer base since the lack of competition between PSBs will definitely benefit the Private Sector Banks.
