Good Morning…

Beloved principal, respected vice-principal…………………………………..

“Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high,

 where knowledge is free.

Where the world has not been broken up into fragments by narrow domestic walls.

Where words come out from the depth of truth,

where tireless striving stretches its arms toward perfection.

Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way into the dreary desert sand of dead habit.

Where the mind is led forward by thee into ever-widening thought and action.

Into that heaven of freedom, my father,

LET MY COUNTRY AWAKE!”

Being a proud Indian Citizen, it's an honour for me to speak on our Independence Day.

If there is one place on the face of the earth where all the dreams of living men have found a home from the very earliest days when man began the dream of existence, its India.

As all of us know that we were under the British Rule for nearly two centuries, which ultimately came to an end after the long struggle by thousands of Indians to free our country. In fact, they were the ones who sacrificed their lives for the freedom of our country. On this day, every citizen of our country pays tribute to them.  The Heroes are still alive in our minds and their struggle is always an encouragement for us to maintain and upkeep their ideals of freedom.

We have in numerous stories and events that inspired our Freedom Struggle, beginning with First War of Independence in 1857. This independence owes itself much to the sacrifices of many nationalists and revolutionaries like Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Lala Lajpat Ray, Khudi Ram Bose, Chandra Sekhar Azad and many more.

As the lessons and inspirations from history can shape and purify an individual or citizen, it is to be considered as one of the main motives for celebrating Independence Day. This is to make the young and new generation aware of the sacrifices they had made to make a better place for us to live.  The youth of our country have the power to change the nation and make it better. By means, someone rightly said that the future hinge on to the young generation. Hence it becomes imperative for every citizen to transform the nation and make it the best in the world.

As Swami Vivekananda said “ Let new India arise out of peasant’s cottage, grasping the plough, out of huts, cobbler, and sweeper ” Indeed, our country has remarkably grown from the days of Independence, and today we are in the path to becoming one of the world’s strongest country in all sense, which includes our Strong Democracy, Economy, Health care, science and technology, and in the field of education.

This year, we are celebrating our Independence Day, within an entirely different world scenario, where entire mankind is badly affected by the covid-19.  This is a testing time for all of us to get together and fight this pandemic with self-restraint and support.

Our heroes have endowed us with virtues like liberty equality, justice and fraternity.  The Constitution has given us Fundamental Rights and Duties which we can enjoy without diluting the spirit of patriotism.  It is our duty to help build a better Nation than ever, by uplifting and improving the living conditions of our fellow citizens, poor people, tribal and work force.  We are individually responsible to continue the struggle to maintain secularism, sovereignty and promote unity in diversity,

Dear brothers and sisters, on this day, we must make a promise with our land that we will defend the honour and integrity of our land in every situation. We will work hard to bring success in every field.

Let us unite and work hard for our goals. With unity, we will surely achieve our goals

There are tears of joy falling as there are free birds flying in the sky

Thanks to the fearless leaders who faced it all

Making tough times pass by,

There may be many things, that cannot be lived without

But Freedom is what we cherish the most.

Love can speak volumes even when words become less

Love for freedom of some has left us blessed

Blessed with freedom, these moments we share,

Let us learn to care for the people around us,

care for the nation in every possible way,

Let us come together to stand and strive for our beautiful land India!’

Thank you

 Jai Hind !
